Camping & Biking the C&O Canal

This past weekend we all went camping in West Virgina. I love camping, and it had been so long since I had been able to go. We drove there Saturday and spent the afternoon in Harper's Ferry. Rob and I biked home. We did 65 miles on our bikes all the way back to DC!

Shelley enjoying dinner. 3 miles into our bike ride. We enjoyed the first half of the trail all to ourselves. The entire ride home was beautiful and the weather perfect.
Look closely there are turtles all over the logs. There were so many along the trail. I love turtles.




The closer we got to DC the more crowded it got plus it was Mother's Day weekend. We did it though and with no training. Rob did great on motivating me the whole way home. I heart biking. I want to do it again!
